The temple of Kom Ombo is a very special temple. This ancient Egyptian temple is actually a temple that consists of two parts. The double temple is dedicated on one side to the falcon god Horus and on the other to the crocodile god Sobek. There is a Nilometer in the temple. There is a staircase that goes down into the ground, including still water.
The Temple of Horus in Edfu is one of the best preserved temples in Egypt. It was founded in 237 BC by Ptolemy III and further expanded by his successors.

Please not that the travel time from Luxor to Kom Ombo is about 3 hours, this is included in the time of 5 hours mentioned here. The drive takes about 3 hours and the visit 2 hours.
