Itinerary

1. NMEC

The day begins with a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC). The NMEC provides an insight into Egyptian civilization during different periods, starting with the Predynastic and Ancient Egyptian periods and through the Greco-Roman, Coptic, Islamic, and modern times.

 

2.Citadel of Sultan Saladin

The Muhammad Ali Pasha Mosque is located in the Saladin Citadel in Cairo. The Citadel of Sultan Saladin is one of the most iconic landmarks in Islamic Cairo and is strategically located with a panoramic view of Cairo. The mosque is built in Turkish style and consists of an open courtyard and a prayer room.

3.Khan El-Khalili

The Khan El-Khalili market is the largest souk in the world, founded at the end of the 14th century. This old market with beautiful Mamluk-style architecture, and small streets with all scents and colors, from perfumes to spices to textiles and carpets, is definitely worth a visit, our guide will show you the highlights.
