I love my 2007 Corolla more than any other car I’ve ever driven. The car is compact and easy to maneuver, but has plenty of power for getting in and out of traffic. The plush seats are comfortable and provide just enough support in all the right places. Most importantly, I feel safe driving my Corolla. The driver and passenger air bags are great, but I feel even safer with the side curtain air bags and anti-lock brakes. The safety ratings on this car are top rate all the way. It’s one of the few cars on the market today that hasn’t had a recall since it was first manufactured in 1966. The back seat has plenty of room for car-pooling and the trunk is large enough for all my luggage on long trips. The gas mileage is fantastic at about 41 mpg on the interstate and 32 mpg in the city. The ride is smooth and quiet, unlike many other small cars I’ve driven lately, and the Corolla was less expensive than a majority of the other cars in its class. This classy little car also offers lots of other extras like a 5-CD changer and deluxe speakers for a bold, clear sound. There’s plenty of storage compartments and cup holders as well. The automatic door locks and windows are nice too. It has vanity mirrors on both the driver and passenger side sun visors and thick, plush floor mats to protect the carpet. The Corolla comes with a 36 month warranty and has an impressive track record for being very reliable and requiring few repairs. The average Corolla will still be on the road after 200,000 miles. I was sold on this car the very first time I drove it. I had tried a Focus, Neon, Mustang, Taurus, Impala, Century, Lucerne, and dozens of other cars, but not one of them seemed to be quite right for me. In some, the interior felt cheap and uncomfortable. In others, I wasn’t satisfied with the excessive engine noise. Some felt cramped and others were just too expensive. I was close to giving up all together when a close friend recommended the Corolla to me and I’m so glad he did. If you’re in the market for a compact car with a roomy interior, great fuel efficiency, and a reasonable price sticker, then I highly recommend the Corolla.
